Prior to my move to France in 2010 I was a Lecturer (2005-2008), then Senior Lecturer (2008-2010) in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London, after having been a Lecturer in the School of Mathematical Sciences, the University of Nottingham, following Postdoctoral Research positions in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Syracuse University, USA, and the Centre for Composite Materials, Imperial College London.I obtained my PhD in the Technical Sciences at the University of Twente, the Netherlands under the direction of Dr Arie Biesheuvel and Prof. Leen van Wijngaarden in 1996, after an MEng in Mechanical Engineering at that same institution in 1992.

Administrative duties

Exchanges coordinator, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (2011-present).
Head of the Two-Phase Flows team of LMFA.

Teaching and supervision experience
