MHD and Plasma Physics

The simplest model of both plasma dynamics and conducting fluids is the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) description. MHD is used in our team to investigate, numerically and theoretically, the behaviour of fusion plasmas, rotating conducting fluids and magnetic-field amplification (dynamo-effect).
