My research activities deal with the physical and numerical modeling of turbulence in fluids and involve high-performance computing :

  • Dispersion of material particles in turbulent flows
  • Lattice Boltzmann modeling of industrial flows
  • Dynamics of superfluid Helium (He-II) — quantum turbulence

I am a co-developer of the commercial CFD software ProLB based on the lattice Boltzmann method.

The ubiquitous presence of spontaneous eddies distributed over a wide range of length and time scales makes turbulence in fluids very peculiar.
