We investigate the dynamics of a von Karman plasma (VKP) flow, a flow in a cylindrical cavity between rotating discs. In close collaboration with the team of Nicolas Plihon (Physics Lab, ENS de Lyon), experiments and simulations are carried out to understand the interaction between a magnetic field and a plasma for a wide range of Prandtl and Reynolds numbers.
